Preaching Parking Previews

I was digging through pictures on my cell phone the other day and found this one. Not sure when I took it, but it’s definitely the Walmart at Runnymede and St. Clair. I love how “Is Coming Soon” is in quotes. Like it’s a tagline or something.

On Saturday afternoon thousands of Toronto’s finest undead took to the streets. As the overcast sky threatened to wash away their carefully smeared gore, the cadaverous multitudes made sure that everyone they passed knew the exact nature of their grievances.

“What do we want?!”

Braaaaaaaaaaains.

“When do we want ‘em?!”

BRAAAAAAAAAAINS.”

From the initial undead red carpet on the path of Trinity-Bellwoods, through the jammed streets of Kensington Market, snap-happy zombie paparazzi gleefully photographed the infected masses.

By the time the march ended at Christie Pits the rain had started to fall, but necrotic spirits were high. The finale was an impromptu dance party fueled by The Von Drats and free vitamin water. Zombies were seen infesting the city’s subway tunnels long into the evening.
